I am honored to share this poem written by my mother-in-law, Nancy Schweingruber. Three years ago on September 12 she stood by her beloved husband, Don, and watched him take his last breath. Her words capture a story of grief and deep love. We miss you every day, Don, and treasure the time we had with you. And to my mother-in-law, thank you for sharing your heart so others can draw hope from your love and courage.
Joan Diller says
Thank you Nancy. For sharing your heart, for reminding us how wonderful each moment of life is and that we are surrounded and blessed by our God. As your journey continues may you be filled with many blessings. Sending hugs. Joan
Jean Haas says
You have shared your heart and brightened the path for all who are on this journey. It is not an easy one, but I have never felt closer to God, nore closer to Don than I do now. You are in my heart and prayers Jean

Nancy, this is beautiful. You honor your husband and yourself with your words. You have encouraged me to do the same.
